Taking Back the Holiday and Making it BrightColor is the word of the day. I see in color, for which I am grateful. Even though it is gray and cold out today. It is definitely that end-of-Autumn, beginning-of-Winter kind of day. The bright spot is the tree i’ve been decorating with my children. We’ve been making each item from the 12 Days of Christmas song. Well, one version of it anyway. I don’t know which one, there are so many. But we did the math and there are 364 items to make. Since we are using everything we have in the house, art and craft supplies applenty, it is very colorful. Most of the gifts are birds if you ever listen to the song. There could be people for the rest with the Lord a Leaping, Maids a Milking, and Ladies Dancing, oh, and the Drummers Drumming and Pipers Piping. Some of those are ending up as animals, but you get the idea. It is a very diverse and eclectic tree. On the blah gray days I like to look at it to see all the colors. It isn’t finished…
